Enjoy a full day of musical activities beginning in the morning in Kimberley's downtown Platzl and finishing during the evening at the top of Northstar Mountain at Kimberley Alpine Resort.
Start the day with music, entertainment, artist demonstrations and artisan booths at Kimberley's First Saturdays in the Platzl. First Saturdays is Kimberley's popular monthly gathering offering locals and visitors a day of fun and entertainment.
Symphony on the Mountain beings at 4:30 pm with the Kootenay casual Black & White Gala at Kootenay Haus, located at the top of Northstar Mountain. This is followed at 6:30 when the Symphony of the Kootenays takes Centre Stage for the Symphony on the Mountain's evening performance. Enjoy the concert while looking out towards the Rockies to the east. Access to the Gala and Concert sites are via the Northstar Quad chairlift. In the event of inclement weather the Gala and / or Concert would be relocated to the Kimberley Conference Centre.
After the concert you may choose to take the chairlift or walk to the base of the hill. If you choose to walk this will speed up the process of getting everyone off the mountain.
